Every day 22+ Veterans and 1 Active Duty Soldier take their own lives. Burdened with the stigma associated with mental health issues and the military “shame” surrounding PTS (Post Traumatic Stress), they instead turn to suicide as their only option to relieve suffering.
We have some exciting news Jason moon will be playing at the Great escape/ VFW @ 6pm after the Ruck. There will also be some beer specials going on. So if you can't do the ruck/walk come out after an listen to some great music an have a beer. Check out Jason @ http://www.jasonmoon.org/
We will be hosting a 22 mile walk/ruck to bring awareness to veteran suicide. All proceeds will be donated to the Eau Claire veterans house. More info to follow.
